EMPLOYEE BENEFITS, OPTIONS AND PROGRAM PAYROLL OPTIONS
DIRECT DEPOSIT PAYROLL
Employees have the option to receive their paycheck via direct deposit to their banking facility or have the option to receive a written check if that is their pay preference.
HEALTH INSURANCE
All new employees are eligible for health insurance coverage ninety (90) days after their hire date. We provide "free" replacement coverage to all of our employees. We also allow the employee to enroll in family plans for the employee and spouse, or the employee, spouse, and children.
401K PLAN
QIS offers our employees the opportunity to invest their money and save for retirement under our 401K Retirement Plan. Employees have the opportunity to contribute to the plan on a before tax (pre-tax) basis. Employees have several options of investments, from conservative, moderate or aggressive plans. QIS. provides the employee an opportunity to save valuable tax dollars and defer payments until retirement age.
OPERATOR QUALIFICATION
QIS has a full-time Operator Qualification and Safety Coordinator that monitors our personnel to ensure they are qualified by the preferred OQ company (NCCER, VERIFORCE, etc) of our client. Our coordinator is a certified trainer and test administrator for NCCER; as well as, we have several VERIFORCE evaluators throughout the United States that conduct evaluations for our personnel. We have several hundred personnel listed on IsNetworld website, that have been trained, tested, and/or evaluated through our Operator Qualification program.
In addition, we are members of the PEC/PREMIER program and continually update and provide our information to the PEC/PREMIER website.
SAFETY PROGRAM
QIS has a full-time Safety Coordinator/ Operator Qualification Director that continually monitors, updates, and provides OSHA 300 data to the government entity as well as our clients. The Safety Coordinator ensures that we are in compliance with NCMS throughout our project sites all over the United States. Our lost time ratio and EMR are monitored and updated in order to ensure that we are among the highest proficiency safety programs in our industry.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE PROGRAM
QIS is a member of the Pipeline Testing Consortium for our drug and alcohol abuse program. We have been in the consortium since September of 1996. Pipeline Testing Consortium, located in Hutchinson, KS provides our pre-employment, random, test for cause, and any other required drug and alcohol testing that are required by DOT and/or our clients. A complete Drug and Alcohol plan is available upon request from our office, or Pipeline Testing Consortium may be contacted to verify our participation in the consortium.
