EMPLOYEE BENEFITS, OPTIONS AND PROGRAM PAYROLL OPTIONS

Health Insurance

QIS pays 50% of the employee premium for a major medical health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of MN (this is a PPO based plan). Deduction is made from the 1st paycheck of each month.

Also available is a Health Savings Account (HSA) with Select Account for employee funded contribution.

Direct Deposit Payroll

Employees have the option to receive their paycheck via direct deposit to their banking facility or have the option to receive a written check if that is their pay preference.

Voluntary Benefits

All new employees are eligible for Dental, Accident, Disability, Life and Critical Illness insurance (60) days after their hire date. You will be responsible for all premiums. Spouse and dependents can also be added to the insurance and you will be responsible for all premiums.

  • QIS provides to all field employees a $10,000 life insurance policy which includes Accidental Death & Dismemberment.
  • Aflac group policies for Whole Life, Short Term Disability, Critical Illness, Accident and Dental are available and are 100% employee funded.

401(k) Plan

We offer a 401K and Roth through Wells Fargo, employees are eligible after 21 days. QIS will match a 5% or higher employee contribution with a 4% company contribution.

Operator Qualification

QIS has a full-time Operator Qualification and Safety Coordinator that monitors our personnel to ensure they are qualified by the preferred OQ company (NCCER, VERIFORCE, MEA, OQSG, E-WebOQ, etc.) of our client. Our coordinator is a certified trainer and test administrator for NCCER; as well as, we have several VERIFORCE evaluators throughout the United States that conduct evaluations for our personnel. We have several hundred personnel listed on IsNetworld & Veriforce websites that have been trained, tested, and/or evaluated through our Operator Qualification program.

Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program

QIS is a member of the Pipeline Testing Consortium for our drug and alcohol abuse program. We have been in the consortium since September of 1996. Pipeline Testing Consortium, located in Hutchinson, KS provides our pre-employment, random, test for cause, and any other required drug and alcohol testing that are required by DOT and/or our clients. A complete Drug and Alcohol plan is available upon request from our office, or Pipeline Testing Consortium may be contacted to verify our participation in the consortium.
